Last night i started work on my new (Dive Coaster). It will be a B&M and a mix between Griffon, SheiKra and Dive Coaster in China as these are the only examples i could find on the Roller Coaster Database website to work with. But mine will have it's own little twist. I think my biggest challange will be the custom cat walks for the lift hill.

If anybody has any tips or helpfull advice please don't hesitate to tell me.

!Stay Tuned!

Well finally after a month and a bit and 4 re-designs i finally finished the layout of my new Dive Coaster. Please Note the straight lift hill, i think i finally have that figured out. LOL

That Immelmann had better be going to be AHG-ed. [lol]

Problems I see:
1. It almost looks like the top of the lift is banked. It may not be but you should check on that.
2. The drop crest shouldn't be that abrupt. See here. See how the radius increases? There shouldn't be too much of a vertical section, really.

That immelman transition is crazy fast. esp. for a dive coaster

The drop definitely need to have a larger radius.

The immelman transition should start around 3/4 way up the loop, then start rotating. Seen here: http://www.bgescape.com/Gallery/display ... =43&pos=21

But i'm having a hard time fixing the Immelman Transition. Please Note: The supports you see are temps.

No? That entrance into the drop is poorly shaped. You need to look at a few more pictures of real-life dive machines.
Oh, were you expecting something here?

I am putting a hold on this project for a few months. I had surgery for tendonitis on my right wrist, which happens to be the same hand i use my mouse with. If someone wants to take over my project, or help me with it let me know.

I am really trying to study SheiKra and Griffon. I just have to finish the supports, add a splash down, finish the entrance and do some more landscaping but the track is finished. Stay Tuned

This looks way too drawn out to be a dive machine. They are compact in design.

I think ArapahoeGoalie07 has a point, i'm thinking i should remove that long section of track which is shown in the first and part of the second picture.

the top of your lift seems really tight for a 8 or 10-seater
