GCI might be actually re-tracking MS. In any case, lets just wait for an announcement before the CP fanboys/girls get too excited.

I think we can move on from that theory, Tetsu, seeing as MS has nothing to do with the island home to MF's overbanks.

I can't wait until the announcement, and it turns out to be a Premier Spaghetti Bowl.......... [lol]
But I hope just as much as anyone else that it's a GCI. Heck, I'd even be just fine with an aquatrax; they appear to be pretty nifty little rides.

Well their status does say Gee, See Eye. So, I'm looking forward to it if this is true.

on CP's twitter page it also says aquatrax a few post below. but i dont know, a GCI seems more like what they are going to do. it would fit better too.

Cedar Fair has a contract to build five Intamins at CP, 3 B&M hypers at 3 different parks, (Diamondback, Behemoth, and the one at CW), and one contract to build 3 GCII coasters at three parks. (Renegade, Prowler, and one coming in a year or two.)

Behemoth is the one at Canadas Wonderland. So theres still one more out there.

"Gee, see eye!" is so obviously a reference to a GCI that it would seem ridiculous for it to actually be a GCI. They're just throwing us off.

Hmm, what kind of records could CP break with a Wooden coaster? Anyone???

Well it is cedar point tradition to break records. =) Even with maverick ( It gave Intamin a whole other ride category ) So IDK, a new wood ride would be nice, but i would much rather prefer a Intamin somthing. But that isn't goin to happen.
Cedar Point FTW

Newest facebook update: "witnessed many people enjoying the intamin settting of the park at sunset..."

One of two things may be happening, either this is another clue, or they're talking about something else.

And yes, they did spell setting wrong

Maybe they really will get a small Intamin where demon drop stands, and a GCI in Frontier Land.
That would be insane, and smart on their part.

Beast is still one of the lamest rides ive ever been on, even in the dead of night. Magnum is good. What record did SP break? And wasnt it mostly hated? PR doesnt break any records from what I remember. TTD is good but really, its not a "complete" ride. KK is just a horrible representation of TTD. More like paint shaker on roids. Pepsi Max from the POV's doesnt look impressive at all and heralded as fairly rough. How many times has that drop been redone?

Most __est rides dont sit near the top of the Bests list. I mean, just look at the lists for yourself.

SROS SFNE - no records
Eagles Fortress - no records
Kawasemi - no records
EGF - no records
Piraten - no records
Nemesis - no records
Behemoth - no records
Goliath - no records
Katun - no records
Dragon Khan - no records
Pyrenees - no records
Millennium Force - Finally, in 12th place. And we all know its reputation is spotty anyways.

Wood
T Express - I think Steepest. Otherwise, nothing else.
Voyage - Most tunnels and more airtime per time
El Toro - steepest in US, but thats a lame record.
Boulder Dash - none
Phoenix - none
Balder - none
Troy - none
Aska - none
Raving Flyer 2 - none
Colossos - none
Thunderhead - none
Hades - maybe longest tunnel?

I think in reality, most of the ___est rides DONT fair well.

The variations of "clues" are, I believe, meant to throw people off. CP has always been very good at keeping things a secret but leaks eventually get out. I think they're trying to create as many rumors as possible to keep from actually getting to the truth until they're ready.

Deff. would seem to be a coaster. I personally would love to see a GCI considering Mean Streak needs work (although not a hated ride IMO) and Blue Streak is a thrilling, yet too basic to be called a stand out woodie.

The latest update from Cedar Point's Twitter reads, "Laboring over these 2010 plans is exhausting!"

They also put a 2010 poll about what you think CP is building for next year. http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/fun/poll/index.cfm

It would be exhausting to manage all of the above, don't you think?

I'm guessing coaster, it has to be, CP doesn't want to tie the record for most coasters in a park with Magic Mountain.

Wouldn't it be funny if it turns out to be a flatride or something [:P]
