I'm guessing coaster, it has to be, CP doesn't want to tie the record for most coasters in a park with Magic Mountain.

Cedar Point has no choice but to give up the record because they're kind of limited on space, and being on an island doesn't really help much either.

Theres space and they can always remove flat rides to add coasters.

Plus have you ever seen Indiana Beach? Cedar Point has boatloads of room compared to IB. Check out Hoosier Hurricane and especially Cornball Express. Theres room at Cedar Point.

KD 1, CW 2, CP 3. Hmm. That could mean that the announcement is the third, or, it could mean that KD has one, CW has two, and CP will get a third.

Makes me think its a B&M simply because KD has one, CW (Caro) has one but is building a second, and CP has two already so they might be getting a third.

Real has a point (haha point...get it?). Anyway, CP does have some room, especially if they remove Demon Drop and can see them pulling off something like B&M did with Batman. Maybe a smaller floorless coaster like Insane Speed at Janfusun or Daemonen in Denmark. I also saw concept are on Screamscape I believe of a GCI could be put next to Disaster Transport and wrap around the Space Spiral (I believe that layout was pretty much the Great America GCI that was supposed to happen only with a turnaround reversed.

So yes they have room, but I think the real (haha Real) question would be not if they have room, but if they are willing to take out more and more flat rides to add coasters, and if so, how much until they have had enough.

What if CP wiped out all their flat rides and everything except coasters and just built coasters and had like 30 or 40. (Not happening thoguh) I'M IN! HAHA

Edit: The guy who just posted above me, CW = Carowinds or Canada's Wonderland?

Does anyone have a solid feeling either way?

Also, KD has Dominator which was relocated, then Carowinds got Cobra which was relocated. Any chance that maybe it's a relocation of one of these coasters from a smaller park that closed...maybe to save it? What has been going on the Geauga's Big Dipper??? After all, that is close to CP. Just a thought.

The latest hint posted today:

"Definitely NOT taking the Beemer out for a spin today. Or next year for that matter."

I think the Mean Streak is a ton of fun, UNLESS you're sitting in the back of a car. Then it feels like you're spine is about to fall out. And the trim brakes ruined it. I would love to see the Mean Streak re-tracked or something.

I would love to see a new woodie. A flyer wouldn't be bad. As long as its a new coaster, I'll be happy.

Maybe since GCI is working on MS maybe they will stay there and do a woodie of their own.

IDK why Demon Drop type of rides are so rare. From what I hear people still like them. Although for a ride of that type it is out-of-date, but still fun.

It might be outdated, but I'm sure many people still like the ride. Not a "must do" when you go, but a fun ride.

I mean for people in general. The general public would go to Mav, MF, or TTD. More seasoned riders I'm sure love the ride and you obviously are one who loves the ride.

All I'm saying is if you took 100 people...maybe 5 would say they love Demon Drop...most would say other rides before they mention DD.

Demon Drop is such a unique experience that it just couldn't be abandoned entirely. I've never felt forces like that anywhere else. S&S Power or somebody should use the principle and design a more high-tech version. I do think that Demon Drop is a bit rough near the end, though.

Whenever I'm on that ride I always think, "Wow this whole thing is about ready to collaps and I'm going to die." Hahahahahah JK. But back on topic I would love to see a B&M Flyer put in. Cedar Fair Would have 2 new B&M's in Ohio! Hahaha! But after KD got Itamin they might get ANOTHER Intamin which I wouldn't mind. But probably there getting nothing. Who knows

I think that there are actually three B&M's in Ohio. :)
