Well .. I'll be headed to CP over Colombus Day Weekend, so I'll take pics to see if I notice anything new.

They're not in debt, at least CF isn't. I'm not sure about CP, but CF made almost $6M in profit last year. I know $6M isn't much for company the size of CF, but its not debt.

CF has been in multi-billion dollar debt since the Paramount acquisition (both inherited from Paramount as well as from the purchase itself).

I still think they made a decent move aquiring the Paramount parks. To be honest I know tons of people who would NOT have gotten Platinum Passes in the last few years if they didn't have those parks. I know that doesnt account for alot of profit in the long run...but it is money they make. I think CF will be going in the right direction as far as profits go.

When you owe billions of dollars, wouldn't the multi-billion term be fitting?

OK Ill give it to you that they are in debt in the billions but definetly not Multi-Billion

Only 1.7billion in debt is not Multi Billion

What about an Intamin Mega-Lite, this would be like a small version of Millennium which would explain why everything is being talked about pairs.

Already been in discussion. ^

It would be cool, but I doubt that's what they're planning.

Yeah, they need to come out with something original, not Jr. Millennium Force.

I think an Intamin Mega-lite along the lines of SROS/Bizarro at SFNE would dominate. Bizarro is indeed the best steel coaster in the world, having ridden it and the other top contenders (including CP's rides). Even if the mega-lite were only 150ft tall, if it had a similar design thought process to that of SROS/Bizarro at SFNE, but maybe a bit longer with the same airtime opportunities, it would be #1.

I would also like to see what Cedar Point would do with their log flume. Maybe they would show us something never seen on one.

Possibly...but I don't think they are gonna go in that direction because they have a few rides that offer a ride somewhat like that. I still think an Inta-woodie is the best for the park right now.

Ive been saying that since those inti-woodies came out. Virtually no maintenance. smooth as steel (wait a minute...) easy to assemble and great fun.

That's exactly why I think it's what they need...after they ruled out GCI I thought it'd be an Inta-woodie. CP is too good of a park to not have a world-class wooden coaster.

It would be, imo, ideal to get a big, intense Intawoodie back there in Frontier Town (since that's where the proposed site is, and it would fit best with the theme). Failing that, I could see them getting a taller, more intense version of Pilgrim's Plunge at Holiday World.
A wingrider? I really hope not. I'm still holding out for the Intawood.

Deff. a woodie I think is the way they should go. Not quite like El Toro...but something like Balder in Sweden but bigger and faster. Something more twisted then an out and back.
