La Ronde receives a new Rollercoaster this year. It's not a brand new one, but it's a 2nd hand Vekoma SLC coming from Six Flags Astroworld.

Some picutures from a contruction update back in March:

La Ronde added also some effects since the coaster is half above water:

Even tho it's an SLC it's been put very nice in a new layer of paint. Also that water mist effect looks pretty cool. [:)]
Coastercount: 1410 (I've seen the world and it's horrid contraptions... @.@)
- Wood: 142
- Steel: 1268

Yeah, that paintjob looks great!
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Glad to see it wasnt scraped. And they added some nice mist, makes it alittle different than all the others out there. However why save a cookie cutter like this and not something original like XlR-8?

Paint looks great, but I still think Great Escape needed it more than La Ronde. Steamin Demon kinda sucks, and that area of the park really could have used a new ride.

Vekoma has built over 30 SLC's,they're a kinda McDonalds of roler coaster manufactures.Same goes for their Boomerrangs. And B&M did it with their Batman clones.
But anyway,I like the colors, and the idea with the mist. Its a bit like Infusion.
All RCCAs should be RMC'd. And that event shall be henceforth known as the Rollercaust.

Be honest. Layout wise are both the SLC and the boomerang 2 brilliant layouts that are compact and pack a lot of thrill for the general public.
It's only because there are so many of them build, that they aren't interesting for us anymore.

I think the layout looks like a new version of Limit (Heide-Park Soltau) or El COndor (Walibi)?!?!!

Yes, it's the same thing as Condor, except it has turns instead of a straight hill/drop at the end. The only other one like Condor is T2 at Kentucky Kingdom. Limit at Heide Park is the exact same as this.
