That's pretty damn insane for a first proper sized coaster.

For me, it's hard to recall exactly, but it was most likely Corkscrew at Alton Towers.

Ghostrider at Knott's Berry Farm...it scared the crap out of me..but it definitely helped me get over my fears..such as right after riding it I was so much in shock that I went to Windjammer and rode my first loop lol

The Ninja At SFSTL was my first ever 'big kid' roller coaseter. Kumba was the roller coaster that took the fear of roller coasters out of me and started the addiction.

I was actually completely terrified of roller coasters when I was little. I went on Jr. Gemini when I was like 5, but the mere thought of going on Magnum or Mean Streak was completely mortifying. It wasn't until Raptor was built in 1994, and my dad tricked me into going on it by saying "This isn't like the other roller coasters," that I finally went on a "real" one. It was so fun though! I screamed like a maniac the whole time, and I haven't looked back since. [lol] Now I'm the one dragging my dad on stuff.

Rockin' rollercoaster.(rock 'n' rollercoaster? been a long time...)
I've come to decided that this was probably the reason i've been so obsessed with coasters since :L

Raptor/Cedar Point.

Before that, the most intense ride I've ridden was Space Mountain. Needless to say, I was not sure how Raptor would turn out in comparison when I rode it the first time.

Laser at Dorney Park. I went with a camp when I was younger and everyone filled in the train from the back forwards. I was last so I got first seat. It was also my first looping coaster...

If I can recall, I think Big Bad Wolf (R.I.P.) was my first large sized coaster. I think that was '87 or maybe '88...before that I was already a fan of coasters thanks to living within minutes of Canobie. I also had the joy of visiting Rocky Point before it closed down.

Are you calling a Schwarzkopf masterpiece a kiddie coaster?

Kiddie coasters aren't 70 feet tall.
