Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

I'm assuming this is replacing the indoor coaster they replaced this year.

Scroll down and check some of the new construction pictures. Looks really interesting especially the cobra-roll/cutback hybrid element.

^ I'd stay away from Japan for a while. Though its a country I have on my bucket list, I think that whole 3-11-11 issue will keep me away for about 5 or 6 years.

That and most parks in Japan are closed due to the aforementioned event.

I feel like all of us have had the idea for this element at one time or another. [lol]

Is this real life? I'm more amazed by this coaster from day to day. Launch and lift, insanely steep drop, unique inversions...

That might be the ride of the year. It has like 7 inversions already.

That is so unrealistic. This ride could never be built! ;)

This is super f-ing sick.

So we have a prelift with a roll, a launch, super large loop, cobra roll thing, atleast 2 corks, a really steep drop, dive loop and immelman.

Wow. This ride is kinda really intense... That drop is pretty nuts, along with the cobra.
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

This looks like the following situation :

"Hey, Gerstlauer! I got a whole lot of money to spend in a coaster, so make what you want to make it look WTF-ish!!"

That's rather close to exactly what I've wanted gerstlauer to make for years. So glad their awkwardness has finally come around to make them into something great. Really looking forward to seeing more of this ride.

Yes yes, super massive crazy intense, all very well and good, but in my experience.... Gerstlauers are ROUGH AS poop. A super sized, crazy intense Gerstlauer is going to hurt like being dragged through a pile of broken glass bottles that previously held lemon juice, while simultaneously being sodomised by passenger jet.

Awesome [^].

What Gerstlauer did you ride ? I rode Typhoon, which is quite and old ride, and Anubis which is newer and both didn't hurt at all.
