Hey everyone! I know I haven't been that active on here lately (basically haven't touched NL in about a year) but I got some time to mess around in with it over the last couple weeks and started working on a wooden coaster inspired by John Miller.

After thinking about it a few times, I finally decided to give hand building a try again after using Elementary and Newton to do everything for a long time. I just looked at my tracks on here and I haven't posted a handbuilt ride in just about six years (I wonder how many of you were even here then [lol]). It's been a pretty fun transition back for me, I don't think I'm done with Newton for good but I'll definitely be doing more handbuilding after this. I should be done with this thing in about a week, but there's a slight chance I might be able to get it up by this Sunday. Here are some teaser pics for you guys to check out.

Welcome back.
It looks cool, but it seems like many of the hills are way too steep for the coaster. How are the G's looking?

You're right, they do look kind of steep. Something about it didn't seem right when I looked at it; that must have been it.

They might be a little steep for the style, but I don't think they're too steep, that's mostly just the angle the pics are taken at. Gs in the back seat spike at about -0.8 over those main big hills. In the middle of the train those hills are all floater, ranging from -0.2 to 0.3.

Why too steep? It makes airtimes even longer and better. Making 30????????? inclined hills just because a designer used to do it doesn't mean it is the way it's the most thrilling. I like your next-gen Miller woodie, keep it up. [:D]

I was more concerned about the G-Forces at the bottom of the hills, but if everything checks out, then I say keep it going. It looks like a lot of fun.
