from the brief half second shot of actual gameplay it looks like they stepped up their game for this one.
What are these for?

I see allot of <corners> angles, the ferry wheel isn't parallel to the shops.
The supports are still generated (coaster on the right doesn't have them above the teacup ride)
Paths are not 1*1 but work diagonally (planters).
Coaster in the back isn't parallel with the shops either. (and not diagonally)

But will this be like RCT3 or pre-RCT3? That is all that really matters.

I would hope they could work with NL at least be able to import the coasters into RCT. The best thing about RCT3 was the people and scenery, and queues.

they need to mix NL2 for coasters with the module extras and rides that RCT3 had.

as much as I want this to succeed, it will probably be bad. With the direction they took RCT this will probably have micro transactions and many DLC. I wouldn't be surprised if this turned into something like the SIMS became.

I think it looks alright, seems a bit pre RCT3 like, or a bit TPS like, but I'm excited as well!

I thought the beginning part was supposed to be the game and I was so excited. Then the bit of gameplay showed.

IGN reported that Atari specifically said this will be "micro-transaction free" and that all features will be available from the beginning, but I am concerned with how much the multiplayer features will have to come into play in order to get the full experience.

Me too, hope this isn't like an MMO that you depend on friends to be able to advance to the next level.

Right, exactly, I couldn't take it. I specifically didn't get the most recent SimCity because of that, and can't even describe the measure of relief I felt when I heard the Sims 4 won't require multiplayer interactions.

I don't care what anyone thinks :D Im exited. Though I think with all the CS, CTR's, and CT's, rct has already reached its maximum potential. But maybe Atari learned their lesson with RCT4 with all the microtransactions and will actually give us a game worth playing

I know me too!
The serious side of me was like "I know its not the game"
But the child in me that still hopes and dreams was like

Honestly, I hope for the best of this. No matter what, RCT3 was always a classic and this is just something i've anticipated for. But honestly, I hope the rides can be built much better..

Wouldn't trust a big game developer on what they say concerning micro transactions payment method until the game is actually released - they could quite easily change their mind or 'change their mind'!

you are lucky IT IS TERRIBLE!
I preordered it and was super excited as a huge SimCity fan. I played it maybe 10 times and uninstalled it.

I have mixed opinions on this. It looks good, but nothing amazing or ground breaking, which is a shame. I hope that the coaster building is less limited and more realistic than previous games. Hopefully we will see some gameplay footage soon.

I hope there's a custom supports tool that's really easy to use.
