I bought TPS expecting a good quality game that could be the next RCT. After playing for a good time the game seemed to grow extremely repetitive and boring. In the end I consider TPS to be one of the biggest failures of a game in my book. They gave it a look and feel as if it was a RCT style game, but it seems to turn out into a pretty boring game. What do you guys think?

I wouldn't say it's a failure, but I do think it severely lacks content. Plus, the game technically isn't finished yet (early access), so I'm going to reserve my opinion on it till it is finished, or at least until it exits early access.

I was pissed about the game. They promised a good release, so I preordered. Then I find out the second they release they have absolutely no content. Like Really?

Again, it's technically not released yet. The problem you have with the game is pretty much the same problem everyone has with Early Access as a whole, which is why people are trying to call for the Steam to remove Early access all together.

Right now it's a failure. However, it's getting better. It could be good in a few months.

It doesn't seem to like my computer much as I can't even build a pathway without it lagging, which I personally find frustrating because of how well I can run NL2. after about 2 hours I don't really enjoy the game. Everything that is released feels rushed and counter intuitive, another thing I found frustrating considering that when they first came onto coaster crazy announcing it over a year ago it looked like they already a full game ready to go. I had my doubts as soon as they started the kick started campaign but after actually buying it I probably wont open the program again even after its full release
What are these for?

This poll is confusing since the answer choices suggest a 'yes/no' question, and 'fail or win' isn't, and if it is, then it would be 'yes' whether it failed or not unless the reception was very mixed.
Luckily I was spared from the confusion for voting 'meh' since I have no strong opinion one way or the other.

there are a few things to point out here. first of all the question is Fail or Win, and only give us a yes or no answer options
as for the game...
I know its still in early release, but I was not impressed.
- I felt the interface was very hard to find the buttons you need.
- It was EXTREMELY hard to move around with the camera(they did just make this better but still not the best.)
- building a rollercoaster seemed nearly impossible.
- I thought this was released as a "game" but there is not any real "gameplay" or "objectives" involved

All in all I was very disappointed. the only nice thing I can think of to say is that is looks really nice. After playing about a half hour I regretted spending my money on it. To be honest I think it ranks up there with SimCity 5 EPIC FAIL.

I agree ^^ Tried few times and I could see a good use for some features of the editor but coming to rollercoaster it's very disappointing to the point I've lost interest...

Sounds like they "early access"d it way too soon from what I can tell. On the flip side Darkest Dungeon just went to early access and it actually feels like a complete title - showing people how to do early access correctly.

I always thought that this project was great. Sort of an NL2 meets RCT.

Thanks for the advice. I will wait for the full release then.

I've seen and tried out first bits of the pre-release and I wasn't impressed much by it. Right now, I'm more waiting until they released a whole lot more before I'd start it up again.

Ideas and such were good, but due all this pre-release stuff it got delayed by a ton. I guess I'll see whenever my hard-copy drops into the mail someday.

^ Exactly, it seemed great when it was announced, it even seemed like it was almost done, even promising a full release a few months from that point. Then the kickstarter happened and it just seemed to go downhill from there.
What are these for?

Yeah, similar to free 3d coaster sims on App Store or Google Play. ;)
