What's up guys, so when I'm taking a break from my main park projects, I like to throw together "cookie-cutter" layouts that will fit into anyone of my park's line ups... Here, I have Calypso!

I love the look of these trains :P

And I decided to change up the environment!

Calypso is a 262ft. Dive Machine with 4740ft. of track, 3 inversions and a top speed of 83mph!

Let me know what you guys think and keep in mind that supports in some areas (MCBR) are NOT final.

Looks like the second vertical drop is not shaped right for a B&M. Unless you are not sticking true to manufacture style.

^^I spent a lot time on shaping... it's shaped appropriately for a 90 degree drop. B&M doesn't have 90 degree drops after the MCBR.

@Coasterkidmwm - Is this better? I don't know if it's just me but, does the top of the Immelmann on the right of the pic look weird?

Please, keep in mind that supports are not final.

They look much better. My dive loops/immelmans always sucked too, don't worry.

Sucked? I saw your "Roar" on-ride video and did feel that track was absolutely smooth! Perfectly adjusted! :)

B&M doesn't have 90 degrees drops at all. Not even dive machines first drops are 90??????. Sheikra's is 87??????.

The ride looks realistic. It's something B&M could do. What I don't like that much is the double immelmann combo. I think it's too repetitive. I would have replaced one of them with a dive loop. But it looks pretty anyway. Keep it up!

Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely look into your suggestion and try to replace the second immelmann with a dive loop!
P.S it's also news to me that B&Ms don't have 90 degree drops!

Edit: So, I did some research and it turns out the only B&M dive coaster that has a 90 degree drop is Griffon! :?

What's your source on this? Oblivion is 87?????? but the large-scale dive machines (Sheikra, Griffon) are listed as 90?????? by multiple sources, even if they only achieve that steepness for a very short period.

HZGarfield posted it on NLE as he has a blueprint of the Sheikra clone in China. I supposed Griffon, not being much taller would be the same. Anyway, the difference between 87?????? and 90?????? doesn't change anything.

^It really doesn't change anything, especially when you're actually on the ride! You MIGHT be able to see it's not a straight 90 degrees if you were to stand back and really look but, the distance you'd have to pan-out too far to actually tell...

BUUUT, for the purposes of MY B&M Dive Coaster, Calypso, the first drop well be 90 degrees and the second (after MCBR) well be like 87-88 degrees...which, IMO is close enough to call "straight down" :D
