Just between projects I thought I'd revisit the first ride I did using Newton2. It's a ride I'm quite proud of, and there are a few track work details that annoy me, but wanting to revisit the ride I found it didn't import very well, so I'm going back to it to get it back to it's former glory with bit added on. CrazyCoaster will be helping with updating some of the textures later on. So far I've just been lining up the scenery and re-doing all the supports. I'm gonna try input some details I've always wanted on the ride, so watch this space.

Updated logo, I've flattened it and made it bit less dated.

The first hill has been re-done now. Mainly spacing the supports and adjusting support...girth?

This isn't really a progress picture (although I've been busy updating a lot of the ride) but it really shows off the leap between NL1 & 2. Honestly I've gotten so used to NL2 I forgot what we used to work with! It's mad.

That is quite a difference! NL2 is much more able to capture the beauty of the coaster. Of course, I am definitely looking forward to this! Keep it up!

The ride is pretty much ready to go =)

Cartexture, it's pretty simple but I've set out and achieved what I wanted

And additionally, if you still have NL1 knocking about this is the original file.

And here's the story of the ride's creation 5 years ago. (I never used this blog as much as I should but it's still there)

Indeed - rather simplistic but very effective!
