What's your building progress like now? :)

I'm getting better at building in the game all around, if you meant on that park I've stopped work on that one for now as I had another idea for a more modern looking park, I will get back around to it, or maybe merge the 2 once the full game is out.

But here's what I've started now, but it is by no means anywhere near being finished

A quick little update, I've started work on a beyond vertical dive machine, it's gonna have a jungle theme and I may build a kiddie coaster that interacts with it somewhat, how I have no idea yet :)

Another update, I've really been in the mood to play recently, so yeah, I've started to fill in the blank space around the coaster before I got all out on theming, mainly with trees as I do plan to build on that land at some point too and trees are easy to delete, I raised some arches over the 1st drop and immelman where I plan to build explorer camps as part of the jungle theme, may even pass another coaster through.

I also completely removed the strange terrain features from the entrance where I plan on building a plaza of some sorts, I'm waiting for alpha 3's new building materials first, but for now, trees :D

But here's a few screenshots of what I have built so far, still heavily WIP

Yeah, I'm trying to be original, also the way the holding brake is shaped cant get a nice curved drop, looks more "legit" than a plain vertical drop, I don't know the exact angle as I had snapping turned off.

^ Interesting that your B&M Diving Machine is getting that kind of drop! They should come up with ideas of making glass smooth sections look "a tad" trickier in the future!

Excellent! :)

So, "Alpha 3" is out, but in the time between now and alpha 2, I had some PC issues related to Win10 August update and had to reinstall, so I have lost all my parks.

I'm starting fresh on something you guys can tweak and play with too, I'm going to be releasing a park onto Steam Workshop within the next few hours once I get as much of the glitchy stuff out as possible.

It's going to be a park set in an abandoned open cast coal mine turned country park with the holes in the ground being filled with water into lakes, which has been purchased by an amusement park company (you), while there are now a few basic rides to draw in the public, you've just had a major investment and 2 plots of land have been cleared to build whatever you want, I would make this a scenario but I obviously can't right now, but will once that tool is available. I'll also be releasing my own versions of what I think should be built as updates to the workshop but you can think of it as "seasons" :D

I tried to not over do it with scenery for now as I wanted to pump something out as fast as possible with a semi realistic feel, so I filled a lot of the blank space with texturing and trees.

Below are a few screenshots of around the park

So yeah, look out for and enjoy Manzanita Country Park once I release it and share what you build in the "blank spots" in this thread :D

Wow should we imagine Canadian woods or European ones from your park? :)

I'm loving Alpha 3 so far, and this looks amazing Postal! I still haven't gotten the hang of fully creating things that don't look like parking lot coasters...
