They appear to be Vekoma trains.

Quite astonishing that Six Flags actually contracted Vekoma to do something. It's been how many years since Six Flags worked with them?

The ride probably had a "once every ____ years do these things as rehab" year and new trains were "worth" the extra cost of replacing the entire chassis, or the vests are just a part, etc.

I'm guessing because right now it's empty and different fin placement from the earlier models.
