Bestdani said he make a brake that you can apply anywhere on the track? Could I use that system for a scenic railway coaster virtual brakeman? I press a certain key to apply the brake like the real life brakemen would? If I press the brake key too long the coaster would fail to get up the hill.

You can already do that. Just operate the coaster in full manual and use the "clamp on track" as a brake.

What about making the coaster out of nothing but brake sections, set them to invisible and script them to work on the action button?

I did figure out how to make a "anywhere on the track brake". I make the whole track, except the lift, a brake segment and set the deceleration gs to 0.07 and make the entire brake segment a "block brake".

Can you bind the lash to track feature to a certain key on the keyboard?
