Apparently they asked Tobi to specifically not 3d model the ride to preserve the surprise somewhat! I wonder if these guys will be asked the same thing?

Imagine if Phantasialand built a wing coaster. It could have some legendary near misses and a sick theme.

They don't really have an inversion threading through a structure though - the junior immelman is probably the closest they get and this looks far better than that being in the flying position!

Looks like some brakes to me.
Ok but how desperate you have to be to voluntarily fly from another country to go to Thorpe?

Is the track black for a dark ride section?

Looks like the rest of the park is getting some love as well. Black Mamba is in the process of getting its rockwork refreshed.

Is redoing the rockwork part of a retheme of the whole area these rides sit in?

Phantasialand redoes some rockwork every year to keep the park fresh, that new Black Mamba rockwork looks great

No it's still African themed but they're updating the rockwork as it is beginning to look a bit old and dated.

Phantasialand have removed one of the fa??ades on the main street in order to make a large passageway into Rookburgh. The fa??ade in red has been removed.

I didn't know they could remove one facade so easily. I thought it was one big building... Or maybe they can't do it so easily but they make it look like they did it easily. ;)

I imagine that frame was there throughout, and it was more a case of dismantling the walls which weren't really structural. A careful job, but perhaps not so complicated.
