Copperhead Strike Construction Time Lapses

Hi again everybody!

Just like last year, I'm back to recording construction time lapse videos for Cedar Fair parks in 2019. Currently, I'm doing only one project: Copperhead Strike at Carowinds. However, if other parks set up webcams that will let me record progress for their projects, then I'll do those as well.

None of the other Cedar Fair parks have set up webcams so far. Hopefully that'll change at some point.

Here is this past week's video. From the looks of it, any impacts from Hurricane Florence to the construction site were minimal.

Another week, another update. Unfortunately, Carowinds remains the only CF park to have set up a construction webcam for 2019, so this thread will still be all about Copperhead Strike, at least for now.

Does that camera get horrific glare perpetually or is it just super foggy there constantly?

Regarding the glare issues...I have no idea what's up with that. The video tends to look better on my desktop than it does when uploaded to YouTube. Not sure what I can really do about it.

Now, I'm going to be out of town next week for Thanksgiving, so these updates will go on hiatus until after I get back, which should be no earlier than the 25th. I'll continue to record these time lapse videos while I'm gone, however, so stay tuned!

It's a shame their webcam looks like Chinese air quality. Either way they've been really speedy with construction.

Okay, I'm back. I had a nice Thanksgiving; I hope everyone else living in the U.S. did as well.

The only two days I wasn't able to record anything (due to being on the road) were Friday, Nov. 16 and Sunday, Nov. 25. Also, I apologize once again for the horrendous glare that plagues the Carowinds webcam.

I still cannot understand why they used such an awful webcam for this. It perpetually looks like pollution or a bad instagram filter. Thanks for the progress, these have been neat since they built this ride so fast.
