Going to use this thread to show that the land purchased will be used for Universal's Third theme park (or fourth, depending on if you count Volcano Bay).

The first image here is an infrastructure filling for the land that Universal purchased back in 2015. This gives a idea of what the layout of the park might be like:

In terms of the name of the park, it will be called Fantastic World's.

It is rumoured to be unlike anything Universal has done before, with the park areas being called worlds with mini-lands inside of them. The rumoured worlds are currently Nintendo, Fantastic Beasts, Dreamworks, Jurassic World and Star Trek.

We already have HP in spread over Universal and IOA, do we really need a separate space for Fantastic Beasts?
What are these for?

In my opinion, Fanastic Beasts 2 isn???t nearly as good when compared to the original, but I???d love to see some sort of darkride for Fantastic Beasts, set inside the American Ministry of Magic (New York City, according to the movies).

I heard from a pretty reliable source about a month ago that there won't be any Wizarding World content in the third park. Not sure what led to the decision (or whether it was Universal's or Rowling's), but with two full lands dedicated to the IP I think that's enough. Supposedly the new park will feature Dreamworks, Nintendo, and two additional properties not currently present in Universal Orlando as the four worlds, with each one broken into two or three smaller areas (think Diagon Alley size and quality). Obviously, this is all unofficial and subject to change, but it seems to line up with popular rumors. If true, we're looking at the first proper next-generation theme park.
Coaster Count: 535 (114 wood, 444 steel); Park Count: 110
Top 5 Wood: El Toro, Voyage, Thunderhead, Outlaw Run, Boulder Dash
Top 5 Steel: Superman the Ride, Fury 325, Millennium Force, X2, Intimidator 305
