Many of you probably know that Kings Island has been teasing the removal of a large coaster recently. Its gonna be announced this week. What do we think it is? The two top candidates are Vortex and Firehawk, honestly I would be glad to see either or both gone.

It makes no difference to me if Vortex is removed or not. I like Firehawk substantially better and I feel like I haven't ridden it enough times.

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? I hate both but Firehawk is insanely uncomfortable!

Pretty sure he's saying he wants to ride Firehawk more times.

Im betting on Vortex. Too many clues hinting to its removal. ???The air is eerily calm,??? ???one of our own,??? as in NOT RELOCATED, and the tombstone behind the unmarked one is for a Polish scientist that studied wind tunnels.

Congratulations to Team Firehawk for winning the guessing games! Us Team Vortexes are pretty winded from our defeat. Seems like you all had a gust of luck, and we were caught up in a whirlwind by all the fake evidence.

Sorry

If it's reached the end of its service life, I guess that rules out being relocated to Kentucky Kingdom.

Nighthawk and Batwing are both still operating, so if Firehawk already reached his end would mean those two won't have a long run anymore as well.
I guess they are closing it because of the maintenance costs and the up-time, I've heard that it had a lot of downtime this season.
(Batwing is also closed for the season at the moment for maintenance?)
They're probably sending the spare parts to Carowinds to be used on Nighthawk

I'm very surprised that it wasn't relocated. It was not a bad ride.

I mean I have Nighthawk at my home park which I haven???t done due to the horrible reviews, but when I rode Firehawk I was just disgusted. It???s not rough, or jerky; the restraints are just so bulky, and during the entire ride you feel like you???re gonna fall out (Not to be GP or anything...)

I didn???t like Vortex either, as it feels like an upscaled version of Carolina Cyclone, but at least that ride has some history to it and isn???t as mechanically demanding as Firehawk was.

I envy that you could tolerate such a Beast. Then again I???m the one guy that stands up for the Beast time and time again, as it???s my #10 overall.

Nope, I liked this ride too. Sad to see it being scrapped as they're very fun.
