So while Busch Gardens Williamsburg are getting an Intamin Multi-Launch coaster, it seems like they have bigger plans for the future. Recently, the park filled for a height wavier of 355ft under Project 2021. Now before anyone comes at me and tells me that this is going to be a Starflyer, i was thinking that, considering that this is coming a years after the Intamin coaster. But read this...

...and then come to your own judgement.

I really hope it's a speed focused giga coaster. Why not one with an inverting top hat? That would pretty much solidify Busch Gardens as like a top 5 worldwide park lol.

Anyway, the fact that we're getting two coasters in a row is amazing.

Pretty much confirms that this is a pretty big coaster.

Another set of plans have now surface for Busch Gardens 2021 project:

Here's what the plans look like over the existing site:

...and this is a rough idea of what the layout of the coaster might be like:

So it seems like this may actually end up being a shuttle coaster after all, but let's wait and see if it actually turns out that way.

So the full plans have been revealed and it seems like this will be a multi-launch shuttle coaster after all:

How the ride could possibly look like

It's like they wanted to build a Red Force style ride but then decided to go with a shuttle version with spikes

More details look of the layout via a electrical schematic which shows that the spike will in fact be twisted:

The more leaks I see of this ride, the more confused I get.

This looks more boring with every update? There is so much better stuff they could have built...

I think like others, I was very excited when I first saw "BGW files for height waver of 355ft" all those months ago. But... this must be the worst possible coaster you could build with 355ft of height.

Someone in the r/rollercoasters Discord started calling this project Drachen Spire and I think that should be the official name for the ride. Just sayin'.
