We were mostly literal children when we first signed up here.

Now we're just children mentally

I wonder how blown away we'd have been back in 2003 by the sight of an RMC.

If someone would have made that in NL then it would have been deemed unrealistic.

Been around here since late 2006. I still pop in from time to time to see coaster construction posts and such. Can't believe it's been 7 years since my last upload. Time flies

I still check this website occasionally. I built and ran nolimits-exchange for a while, then my interest in rollercoasters and theme parks disappeared. I still remember all the people in this thread. I remember gouldy supporting Wolverhampton (or someone did), building tracks by hand vs using the Purgatorium (remember that?)

The new folks probably don't know this website used to be called Weeweeslap (still not figured that out).

I've been a member since 2003. A testament to Oscar for keeping this running all this time.

I had to create a new account but my previous username was Lewis13, I realize now my behavior wasn't highly reputable at the time. I uploaded my last track on July 4th, 2012. Life got faster. I joined some time before 2008. I've been working on a B&M Wing Design but... it's just a virtual concept for now. I've always checked in on the site here and there. Just a reminder to check on your friends and their mental health during this trying time. You never know what someone else is going through and it really does make the difference.

Was looking through old PC files and found NL1 tracks from 2002. Thought it was appropriate to see if this place was still kicking around. I can't believe I guessed my old terrible password on first try.

Hope all is well and have a happy new year.

Heya old folks... long time, no see! Hope you've all been doing okay. I don't do much of any coastering these days, whether in real life or on the PC. I do remember checking out NL2 when it came out, but I think the whole coaster thing had pretty much run its course for me by then. I haven't been to this site in years, but something tonight made me think to check and see if it's still around. Not only still here, but I still see some familiar names. Take care everybody!

still use NL for downtime sometimes and still enjoy it.

Joined way back now I'm 36 and officially an old man with a wife and a child

i do miss going to parks with friends. now its just me and the wife and very occasionally.

i do look back at the weeweeslap videos every now and again and cringe

Hello...I can't remember what the "Coaster Sims" site was called before that, but I once downloaded tracks for the version 1 NL simulator as far back as 2003 under the name "Oovo4", and I'm not sure anything I ever did was carried over... Nothing I made was :D particularly popular, except a scant few...I'm just wondering if I can find them... Otherwise, I'll have to consult a friend whom MIGHT still have them stored on a disk I gave him years ago... Is there any other exchange site that goes back that far? NL Exchange itself does not, and all of it emphasizes strictly on things designed on NL2, which I have, but haven't gotten into the "swing" of designing stuff on it... Thanks for any help...

I'm afraid this is the only site that goes that far back that I know of. :(

Quite scary to think about.

I joined in October 2003, sitting in an ICT suite at school just waiting for the end of the school day, sat next to my friend Jacob. I remember him commenting on the fact that a website called "weeweeslap" wasn't immediately blocked from access on the school network. I said to him, of all the coaster websites it has to be this one I join with a name like that.

And today, nearly 19 years later, as a 35 year old with 2 children, one of whom is now at school herself, I'm still coming back here to check what's going on.

It's also crazy to think I'm still, on a fairly regular basis, meeting up with people I met here. Travelling to other countries with them, even. All because I was bored at school one day and joined a website based solely on the fact it had a vaguely naughty sounding name to my teenage brain. What if I'd just played another game on Miniclip instead
