Man, I'm really depressed that I won't be able to get RCT3, I mean, one of the main reasons that RCT1 and 2 were so popular cause they could be played by everyone on every computer, but now that it's in 3d, it'll only be able for people who are rich (costs a lot for a good comp) and have a great comp, this really depresses me.[:(]

So for those whoever have a crappy comp, have rct 1 And/or 2, and are looking for a good new download, I will provide them with it. RCT2 all the way!

You do not need to be rich to get a computer that will play RCT3.

The computer I am on right now plays NL, total 3d, without much problems and I bet it retails (Without my monitor) for under 1000. Especially since its so old...Most comptuers today are standard over 2ghz, mine is a 1.6. Im also running an older model GeForce 4 card and older ram.

Upgrades are not as pricey as they seem, and Im VERY sure that the crew working on RCT3 is doing their best to keep the framerates high. Infact, I will bet the requirements only go up a little bit.

Actually, if it uses your graphics card more it SHOULD run better than RCT. My computer can play more polys in NoLimits at higher resolutions than RCT1 or RCT2. The old RCT's ran almost all off your CPU and ram, which meant the power I had in my card was useless.

A lot of people don't have that kind of money, even cheap upgrades, and 1000 is very steep, I'm talking about 150 dollar p2 pc, computer store bought users.

It's an old p2 733 with it's included speakers, graphics card, drive fan, ect, and a 25 dollar, 128 mb upgrade, and I could only afford that cause of my aunt giving me a best buy gift card[:(]

And I don't have the money for upgrades.

No, the included card (old video cards [like 1998 video cards{half-life 1 quality graphics}])

I mean, i'm not rich, but we do have money, bad that's sadly for the cable bill (and cable modem) cars bill, and other bills.

And I don't even come close to the requirements for the MINIMAL settings.

One of my computers, (my slower one that kicks @$$ on Unreal Tournanemt) cost roughly $300 and the labor of installing the upgrades; A $70 video card and a $40 stick of 512 RAM.

You never actually need what they say. Nobody who bought a computer at least one year ago has a 733Mhz processor, but it don't matter. My 233mhz (not for RCT 3) runs RCT 1 & 2 well. I have around a 600 for RCT 3.

Why the f*ck are you whinig about the 3d? It's way better than working in 2d. Why? Not only can you explore your park in alot more detail, you can ride, and the editing is better, like more control over the camera. Also, you won't be placing an object in the wrong spot every 3 seconds. I say why 2d why!

And the cam won't be that hard to operate, unless you're perspectivly challenged or have never used ANY sort of 3d game. (chances are slim since most of you here have NL)

Another benefit of 3d is that if you have a crowded park, you can actually see where you're building, and won't have a pathway blocking the view every 3 seconds.

the reason he is complaining is because his computer wont be able to handle the 3-D graphics of RCT3, but i bet if it could he wouldnt really care. But my comp also is insufficent to be able to play RCT3.(sry i dont know the specs)

Just look at the system requirements. They shouldn't be too much of a problem. If you can run NL, you should be able to run RCT3 just fine. Otherwise, get a new one; your PC is out of date.

beg your parents. Tell them you need it for school work or something. Go get a Dell, or something. Dell has extremely good quality, and fairly good prices for they're computers.
