Yes it is worth it, but we do need more RCT2 rides and parks now that RCT3 is around. So stick with RCT2, just for those people with PII.

I'd say, if your computer is RCT3 Ready, then go and get it. If your computer won't run RCT3, then stick with #2 or do some upgrades if possible.

My computer easily meets every system requirement, but it still won't run it. I have to wait a few years to get a new computer before I can ever even play it [:(] By then the computer I get will probably be too new to run it!

3 simple words... Get the demo.

^ As for you, Dirk, just use custom structures.

IMO, RCT3 is fun when you start with all these new features, but the basics of the game iteslf was done poorly. For example, the scenery placement is extremely tedious, it takes like 10 mins to make a station when it only took about 2 mins in RCT2. They took away custom support objects when you expect them to add more, and the coasters are still their crappy old selves, and they have no excuse for that since it's now 3d. Even a simple track scaling system would be nice. And though minor, they should've made the overbanks correctly and not place them on B&M's (that was just weird). And the 0 g rolls are on the vekomas and arrows, not the B&M's, which is just plain retarded.

But get the demo first.

Ah true true, ya know what we need? RCT3 with all the features it has and not in 3d.

i got the demo and hated it. the 3d makes it worse and is totally a waste. i prefer the old RCT graphics. all the had to do was make better coasters and a variety of rides plus a POV feature and it would've been perfect. but no- they had to follow everyone else and get the stupid 3d crap. it's a knock off from sim theme park. RCT3 is a huge disappointment for me. there's my 2 cents [V]
