yea i cant get a decent fps and my comp is great but the film maker sucks any help with any other ways to make movies?

If you want to take it in real time rather than frame by frame, use fraps.

Beware that what you see is what is recorded. That means that if it's lagging (probably is), then the lag goes to the vid (you can probably edit it and make it go faster though)
