The Xbox 360 looks like poop to me, but thats just my opinion, the graphics dont look improved that much, the PS3 looks alot better, compared to the Xbox 360.

Well, they'll probably be about the same, actually. The original Xbox had probably 3 times the graphics capabilities of the PS2, and the 360 is supposedly 10 times faster than the Xbox. The PS3, on the other hand, is supposedly capable of 35 times more than the PS2...which makes them quite close. I would give the PS3 the edge, because it does come out about half a year later than the 360. But who knows, perhaps I'm totally wrong. Though, one thing is for sure IMO, the PS3 looks a hell of a lot better than the Xbox 360.

well i think the xbox 360 will be great. I really dont like an ps's anyway.

360 is going to be expensive due to the hard drive. i never really liked xbox except for Halo. i like PS2/PS3 better because of the better games coming out for them. (Killzone 2, Vision Gran Trusimo)

Another Gran Turismo game? Whens the projected date? 2035? 2057? No really, Forza destroyed Turismo. However, thats good. Means GT will up the anty and then Im sure Forza will do a sequal and they will have to outdo that. Competition is great for us...means progression in the industry.

Personally I think the X-Box is sweet. I think white is a great color (or, absense of all color for you art geeks) and the face plates look pretty cool even though I may stick with the standard.


However, how many of you when playing your PS stare are your box and go "wow...that looks sweet" ? None of you...unless you have mental problems. All that matters is how the thing plays.

Actually, white is all colors, black is absence of all colors.

I'm not really a fan of the "Sony Playststion Series" It needs a new damn name IMO. Anyhow I'm a Nintendo/Microsoft Fan...but X-box will the more than likely the best system of 2005...improved gameplay..check! Better Graphics..check! More Game than the lord allowed..check! and an overall better design..check...now all I want to know is if the X-Box 360 will be backwards compatible?

meh, Sony to sell a chip to put into xbox so they can play PS games, and Microsoft should sell a chip to put into the PS, that way some one can decide on a console, and they might be willing to by that chip so they can play the other games. Some people don't want to spend out 400 - 800 dollars just to play $50 games, they could make more money that way.

Playstation games focus more on graphics than gameplay. And the RPG's on that system are just getting boring.

X-Box games focus more on graphics than gameplay, but they have a few funner games, and the RPG's are just more orginal and exciting.

I'm going to have to go X-Box for now, but you never know what Sony will do...

To say the least, here is what I've heard and will expect during the realease of X-Box 360 and PS3

X-Box 360 features internet access/cd burner/dvd drive/ and a lot of other stuff, and to be priced around $499 or even $599.

PS3 will be also shipping defunct chips in their software sense the chip to run the PS3 needs to be so precise to run the games.

PS3 is a lot more powerful than the X-Box 360, but as I assumed last year, X-Box 360 best games will be mainly ports from PS3 and PC.

Games, though, are said and probably will be priced at around $75 each due to the next-gen graphics, work, and time spent to make each game. As more next gen consoles come out (PS4...) games and consoles are going to be priced even higher.

Nintendo Revolution, however, is assumed to be cheaper than each, and due to the fact that it is WAY backwards reverseable (NES games!!) and has a lot of the classic stuff (Resident Evil, Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Donkey Kong) that it will apeal to a wider audience this year, and is expected to release more adult oriented games.

My opinion: I want the X-Box 360, and expect to pay around $800 for the console and just 3 or 4 games. But I'm not risking $500 on a defunct PS3, and I'm not a huge Nintendo fan. I'm a little upset with these next gen consoles, but they;re going to make a crap load off of us! (rebel!!!)[;)]
