Has potential...I would say in a few years time, when computers get better, Atari could really work on the game engine to bring as graphicsmore like NL. Right now, i think its pretty sucky, game lags too much after 3 rollercoasters are built

Yeah. Soaked will really bring this game to life. I like it, but as you say, it gets slower as you build more coasters and there isnt much scenary.

I hate it, because it has a very disorientating view, to much reqierments, lack of everything that made rct2 great. The interface is also very bad, the only good thing is that you're having more coasterstyles. but still i'd rather have those coasterstyles in a expansion for rct2...

Yea, I think that if they added some things that it would be one of the best coaster produced on the market. But it needs lots of changes.

RCT 3 could have been better, but then again, it could have been A LOT worse... Off course it lags way to quick (or so I've heard, I haven't gotten to that point yet because my PC is pretty new), too cartoony, bug infested and it had RCT1 and 2 to compete with... But all in all I think Frontier did a pretty good job...

the game runs fine here, but if your starting to build giga parks it lacks speed... That's i guess also what the people mean by slow game...

I really hope they fix the fps alot in the new update. I''l inform you guys about the update when i got it [:)]

I think that more scenery, A little bit better graphics and less requirements to run the ride then it would be better. Like someone said hopefully the next update will help this game out alot. Can't wait for Soaked to come out.

NL has a much higher polygon count, but it lacks some detail that RCT3 has.

too cartoony, bug infested and it had RCT1 and 2 to compete with... But all in all I think Frontier did a pretty good job...

The gfx are a lot less cartoony than RCT1&2. The bugs are fixed by the patches.

I hate it, because it has a very disorientating view, to much reqierments, lack of everything that made rct2 great. The interface is also very bad, the only good thing is that you're having more coasterstyles. but still i'd rather have those coasterstyles in a expansion for rct2...

The camreras aren't that hard IMO. (just switch to the fly cam, it's just like NL's)

Anyways, for me, the issues I have with the game is the lack of customization, modding, etc. Also, I can never build more than 2 coasters, and let more than 500 peeps in, otherwise I have to tone down the settings and make the game look ugly. I'm running it on a p4 2.66 ghz with 512 ram, displayed by a radeon 9600pro 256mb card. The card was upgraded from a geforce 4 mx.

Why does everyone say its slow it runs perfectly fine on my comp. Anyways I love it screw you all.

Cool, what specs do you have?

I think RCT3 could eventually be a lot better but for now it lacks rides, good coasters, scenery, and the FPS is awful I can only make small parks with little scenery

its mostly a processor/memory lag. When I got more memory it turned from unplayable lag to watching the rides skip frames. Which is then because of my graphics card, but its now playable, for me.
