Howdy all, I was an avid RCT 1 player, and found RCT2 fun at times, however I found it abit of a drag vers the first game. Then RCT3 came out and I decided to try the demo and wasn't all that impressed (mostly cause of lack of time and bugs in the demo) I decided not to buy it.

But lately I've been wondering if I should give it a second shot. Mostly because Soaked! looks to be a little different and I have been working at a major ammusement park with no access to my own computer for long periods that I just want to build my own.

So is RCT3 worth the buy?

Depends on your comp. If it's not good enough for playing most DirectX9 games (which most newer 3d games use), I wouldn't go for it, since RCT3 will lag horribly after building a descently sized park. You hvae to normally limit it to 3 or 4 major rides.

If you're system's good to go, I recommend buying it, plus the soaked expansions.

If you're not sure on whether your system specs are good enough, just tell me how much RAM you have, along with your proscessor info and your graphics card. To find your specs, right click my computer, goto properties, there you will find your proscessor and RAM, and for the card, go to the hardware tab, and click on device manager. Click the + next to display adapters and tell us what it says.

The demo may run pretty well, but it hardly has to load anything compared to the full game, plus the park is very small so comparing the lag with the demo to the full game is not the way to go. Oh yeah, if you don't get soaked, be sure to get the patches.

My computer specs are fine, I have no concern with my PC other than the fact the game is optimized for ATi cards.

I'm asking about the game itself.

Not nescessarily, nvidia cards do fine with the game. (they just happen to advertise ATI)
