Right now, here in pensacola fl, gas prices range between $2.55-$2.65, mabye even higher, it just depends on the station you go to. But because we are getting so little gas down here right now, when we do get gas, its only in a few gas stations and there is always a line. Pensacola is located next to the Alabama/FL state line heading west toward mobile. I am sure that gas prices here will keep going up. pensacola and other cities are getting people from mississippi and some form alabama coming over to fl looking for gas. some of them are carrying several big gallon cans.
Today I say someone from mississippi carrying about 9 55 gallon barrels riding around looking for gas. Whats going to be really bad is if(I hope not) we get another hurricane coming this direction, even if it doesnt hit us, people here will be panicing for gas, and dry watever is left of gas. and if we do get hit, then those without gas, which will probably be a lot of people, will probably try to steal gas from others, and vehicles, and other means. We dont need another hurricane to enter the gulf, otherwise there will be pandamondium and mayham across the areas of the gulf cost that were hit and were affected by the two that hit the gulfcoast this year. Dennis and Katrina.
Really, In georgia, i saw a sign on the news that had a price posted as $5.98 - Now that is stupid, i hate these prices.
