Hey yall,

I've found some time and started to build a coaster for coolbeans contest.
http://nldc.interfix.net/p1020
It's more or less an out and back with a twisted end, not very original, but I mainly wanted to improve my skills(especially on banked valleys(or however it's called), cause this features 5 of it[:D]). I hope you like it and if anyone has a suggestion for a name it would be really appreciated(note: it has to work well with the colors cause I'm going to leaye them like this)

ish

Something like "Rampage" might work well with the way the ride looks I think

xtreme launched coaster? nahh probably not. Rampage sounds like a good name, I realy like it->coasterkrazy...I just marked some parts and made them lift pieces, I don't care about those catwalks. and just in case you're going to ask...no it won't have any major theming, a station maybe but not more[:D]

wow I suggested the first name that came into my head and you chose to use it [:)] I guess I must be THE man [:D] ........ except for sundays of course, when I become Gouldina [lol]

Seriously though, make sure the supports rule and you should have yourself a damn good ride [:)]

Decent layout, but that first overbank looks a little to sudden IMO. Other wise 8-)

Your rides are always well done, and this looks like no exception. Maybe I should try and rebuild mine to take you on [lol], but you'd probably beat me anyway. Like the colors and the layout.

Damn man![:D]don't you get it? I won't change the colors! If you don't like them it's your problem, not mine[;)]. I try to make some cool intamin like supports...and I'll maybe include some tunnels if I can find out how to make such terrain tunnel(nevermind, I'm just going to ask Hansixx).

thanks for all the comments.

It looks pretty cool.

Just a hint, when heartlining you might find that the lateral g's a more controllable if you set the heartline to .5-1 instead of the 1.3 or whatever the AHG suggests. If I remember correctly, I used a heartline value of .51 and the g's seemed to be better than when using the standard value on my coaster Monolith.

Yes ish, looks nice. BTW FN, that sounds pretty good, beccause in some places where i use the heartliner it does seem over heartlined.

I can tell this was an elementary ride because of that drop. Personally, I think these types of drops and turns where the radius doesnt mesh together is the biggest weakness. I would rather have seen the thing drop more and turn at the same time instead of flattening out so early then turning. It give a ton more airtime and give a more EGF style drop.

But to my knowledge to do that you need to make your own formulas. This was the single thing that irked me with alot of Tylers tracks. You are limited to this.

The rest of the ride looks great though. Its just those transitions that bother me. Keep up the good work. Colors look FINE!

Actually, just use a higher filter and a accuracy of 5 instead of the 6. It means your tracking wont be as accurate to what you started with, but it tends to REALLY smooth out any kinks and make things more gradual which I find to be the real culprit of G's.
