Hello everyone been a while since i've been here.

Well later today I decided to install RCT2 onto my laptop which runs windows 7. I'm working on a park and decide to post it on a site. After taking a screenshot I went to upload it to imageshack and could not find it, i searched my program files, my computer, and my local disk, nothing was there. In the game it says the screenshots are saving, and I know where they should be. So I must beg the question, where are my screeshots saving to? and if they're not saving at all what can I do to fix this?

Thanks for the help in advance.

They should be saved under C:\Program Files\Infograms Interactive\RollerCoaster Tycoon 2\ by default unless you installed it into a different folder. They are saved as .bmp's.

It's also possible but unlikely that Windows 7's UAC (user account control) is preventing the screenshots from being saved. This happened very often in Vista on NL; if NL wasn't ran as administrator or the UAC disabled, NL would be unable to save videos, screenshots, and even the editor couldn't save tracks.

I say the problem is unlikely because they should have fixed up the UAC for Windows 7 to be a lot less of a pain in the ass. Nonetheless, I still disabled it. (use google to find more on UAC if you think that's the problem)

Try running Rct2 with Compatibility set to Windows 98/ME. That's what I use and it works fine.

I went to NE designs there was a button that said "show compatibility files" that worked, thanks for the help guys.
