hey, i posted a topic asking about how to download roller coaster tycoon parks and/or tracks. One person said that i need to get a packager. Where can i get it?

Post this in the appropriate forum. IE the roller coaster tycoon forum.

As for downloading. You just download the track and unzip it to the appropriate folder.

and what file might that be? im tryin to download a park right now, but i cant seem to figure out which file it is.

I have been having problems with this as well. I unzip the park file, but all it gives me is this "DATfile" and when I open that up, it's a Notpad document with a bunch of coding...

damn... ya. I really cant find out how to do this, i was just wondering, is there like a track packager like nolimits, but only for RCT3? and if so, can u send me the website? thankz[:D]

you put the file in the sceneario folder that is located inside of the RCT 3 folder. From there you open up the sceneario in game. It does not work like NL does.

I sent a PM to you with this in it asaaa also some suggestions for you.... anyways for track files it goes under track then you can also put the park file under parks to just load it up in sandbox and make sure you go to the RCT3 folder in my documents rather than the one in program files

I know everyone's posted advice and Dirk even has an Article about this, but nothing is working for me! I have yet to successfully download, place, and open a Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 File! I can't find the Scenario file, which is where everyone is saying it needs to go. Help?
