Ive never really reasearched into what's acceptable laterals for RMC and even intamin, b&m and such.

Im making a curved drop similar to the Joker at SFDK for an RMC conversion im making.

Image

The drop pulls about 0.7G's in the back of laterals for a very short amount of time, like a split second. Middle pulls about 0.4 - 0.5G's sustained for a half a second and the front pulls 0.3 for a split second.

What is the mainstream for uncomfortable laterals? Ive always thought 1 g's was a No no, but maybe im overestimating.

IDK how many G's the last turn into the brakes on Storm Chaser pulls but I imagine somewhere at least that.

You're fine. At night, Iron Rattler in the front row into the brakes pulls at least 1.0 laterals. And the front and back on Twisted Colossus have a couple moments that probably approach it.

4-Skyrush | 5-Iron Rattler | 6-X2 | 7-Kingda Ka

Lateral Gs ARE a nono in most scenarios lol. RMC just does it and people praise them for it. they pull at least 1 for split seconds but never hold them. I wouldn't go higher than 1.2, your max that you should aim for is 1.1 to give you some wiggle room. they'll hold smaller G counts for longer but then again that's what most companies do anyway.

4 G's to the taint was a bit much for me because I'm not a power bottom like Turbo

According to the press stats sheets of Storm Chaser and Wonder Woman, RMC designs go up to 1.25 lateral G's.

Coasters with the lat g-force of 1.5, are they too much even for thrill junkies? 1.25g's seem (pretty) okay. :)

I recall the common wild mouse hairpin turns, pull about 1.2-1.4g lateral. So I guess that gives a good idea to how forceful you should go.
