I really don't see this happening.

Sea World has been TANKING the last few years.

I'd see it more likely to close than put some massive $30m+ investment in.

Unfortunately I think Tyler is right... I really don't see it happening. It's a shame too, because that would make SeaWorld a B&M powerhouse.

Would it be possible for you to take like a few extra minutes to make sure your posts are mildly literate...?

I've heard this rumor, actually, but it's impossible. Seaworld is broke right now.

Well you have to spend money to make money and the new ceo could figure stuff out and I think the reason bgt is getting a mack spinner fit doesn't cost much plus the park doesn't need anything big plus this would bring some good to seaworld as the blue world project doesn't come till a long time and they could figure it out because it won't be till like 2017

If SeaWorld Orlando is getting a new coaster, I highly doubt it will be a B&M hyper/giga because SeaWorld isn't in the best financial shape right now. BGW getting Tempesto (a relatively cheap coaster) and BGT not being able to afford demolishing Gwazi are obvious signs of that.

Tempesto was most likely the old ceo and Joel man by will want to invest to the park that is in the biggest tourist area to get the most money of the investment plus this will bring some good to the seaworld name

Just because they get a new CEO does not mean that they instantly get revenue.

This thread is just full of contradictions.

It also bothers me that "SeaWorld" isn't properly capitalized and neither is the rest of the title.

Must be the common core grammar.

^harsh!

I do think for some reason that BGT is getting something big despite their financial situation. SeaWorld though, I highly doubt it. Look at Six Flags for example. They spent millions upon millions building enormous coasters in the early to mid 2000's, and nearly went bankrupt because they were spending so much money. Then they went through a drought in the late 2000's without many coasters under Shapiro and shifting the focus towards families. Now under Jim Reid-Anderson they seem to have found a balance, and as a result when they released their earnings yesterday, Q1 attendance and revenue were beyond expectation, and I was very pleasantly surprised when the virtual stock I hold (for a school related matter) jumped up significantly. Now they cater towards families and thrillseekers, and for the first time in 10+ years they are actually making money, giving us an actual budget for even better coasters and attraction. Let this be a lesson; to bring in the rides you need bring in the cash!

Seaworld will not get a major attraction, as they will never get their investment back, and that will make their financial crisis even worse than what it already is.
