^Not surprising actually. I mean, it is a dual tracked ride. It would take much longer than a single track. An october release would be ridiculous. I would rather wait until next year.

Exactly... it's basically moving to a 2016 coaster if that is the case.

Even with the given length of the track, I can't believe it would take until August 2015. It's warm all year round, the coaster is NEXT to the damn parking lot so they don't have anything in their way. I don't think its length is any excuse for building to take THAT long given those advantages!

^Then again, Looping Dragon won't be open on opening day, yet it takes carnivals a week to install. Is it laziness?

It's because Six Flags hates everybody and would rather see someone f***ing cry than open a spotlight coaster on time. (true experience for me...)

Better to fall over now than when they send a person up to evaluate the condition of the structure.

Burn baby burn, should have just let it finish burning and then just throw out t.c and make a new better coaster or 3 in its spot

Their Facebook page says it's still scheduled for a Spring debut. Objectively, that means not August or October. But knowing Six Flags's timeliness of debuting attractions, it likely may be as late as those months now with this delay.

yeah, I don't know where you guys got August? Yeah there's been delays in the past, but isn't that the Builders(RMC) fault if they don't make their timeline?

Yeah SF is known for some delays, but August? Come on! Don't push it guys^^^^
Or if I'm wrong let me know!
TC was a spring debut because they don't have to modify TOO much, very long ground activity, not much building, more tearing down.
WC is alot more building.

I honestly don't think it's that big of a problem. Is it poopy? Yes. Is it impossible to fix? No. Gotta trust RMC to adapt.

IDK it could effect the structural integrity of the whole structure having fire damage like that.

Someone on my FaceBook feed who lives in my state posted about this complaining about the parks lack of safety. Just thought I'd leave that here.

Yeah they'll probably need to replace a fair bit of the wooden structure around where the fire occured.

Guys... The August part was a joke, because Six Flags can never get rides ready on time so Spring 2015 really means August 2015 and now with this delay, it probably means October 2015 :P

Some of these comments are ridiculous, especially in retrospect lol. RMC picked themselves up and kept right on going.

I don't think anyone is blaming RMC for fulfilling a customers wish to destroy all of the Classic Wooden Coasters in their inventory. However we are still laughing at Six Flags, because that's the only thing that its good for.

Colossus was classic enough to deserve it's ultimate fate, to become an actual fun ride again. I can't speak for the others, nor am I against laughing at the chain as a whole.

I'm a RMC fanboy, which unfortunately means caring somewhat about what is happening at Six Flags parks for the next few years.

WC will also take longer because they have to repaint all of the supports dark greyish blue. The only thing I don't will work out correctly is the 200 degree stall.
