After working on this track for a while, i finally think it is good enough to show some screens, I decided to give this ride a second chance. It is still work in progress so these are some rough drafts of the finished product. I am finished with trackwork and supports as well, i am working on scenery now. I have been working really hard on this track so let me know what you guys think.

lookin good. are you just gonna leave the support 3ds the way they are, or are you going to make actuall 3ds, or detail them more or anything? i fell with great scenery it would be much better.

The supports are used as a guide to help me for when i make the scenery. They wont stay.

Austin you've been here 7 months and you still talk like a n00b.

Krazyt, the ride looks impressive. I understand you're a fan of SheiKra. Designers that follow, respect, and adore a ride tend to have a greater work ethic when recreating it [;)] Good luck.

I think it looks great so far. One thing that I think I should point out is that the turn-around before the holding brake appears to have a larger radius than the real Sheikra. I have never before seen the coaster in real life but I have seen tons of pictures floating around the Internet as well as a few POV's. It is most likely just a bad picture angle, after all you did say you have been working on this track for awhile.

Ehh, that red and blue looks a little bright, krazyt. Not so much the blue, I think that can stay. But the red is far too flamboyant to pull off as realistic. Just pull down the lum bar.

I think the turnaround before the water splash should be a smidge bigger (in width).

Otherwise, I cannot find any difference! Great job!

i think it actually looks perfect. I think the turnaround looks off because in the sheikra picts its far away and then zoomed in, but in his picts your closer, so it makes further things away look smaller, if you get what im saying. so i say everything is perfect...

Your turnaround before the brakes is slightly too small. The angles are about the same(90????????? vertically), so you should adjust that before you make some elaborate 3Ds that don't fit when you are done.

Try getting someone to superimpose the pictures with photoshop, that should help a lot even if the aerial pic isn't perfect. Right now overall it does look good but I think there might be little things here and there that can be improved on.

I'm talking about the turnaround before the brakes, not the MCBR. It looks a bit smaller than the real turnaround. It needs to be slightly wider.

How long did it take you to do the lift stairs and stuff? I assume you made one, copied and pasted it to another premade point, then copied those 2 and pasted them, then 4, 8, 16, etc...? I haven't wanted to make lift stairs because it seems like it'd be a pain with SketchUp, more repetition than designing.

Took about half an hour to do all of it. I didnt actually copy and pasted, that wouldve been too much work to place all of em, so I did all of the steps myself. Didnt take too long.
