At this point I just prefer to not hear the latest news and just wait for the official announcement, kinda don't want to ruin it 12 hours before I'm suppose to be shocked lol
It seems the last rumers are the accurate, on the money ones.

Yup! These topics are primarily here not to spoil the surprise, but to be transformed from rumor topics to the real thing so I don't have to make brand new topics for practically the same thing :P

I just hope its not another B&M Batman clone. For some reason I can totally see them putting two in one park

I dont now much about the park, or the space provided, but a batman themed wing-rider would be kind of awesome imo
What are these for?

Could be a different Batman: The ride thing, maybe some other clone ride but clearly not the one they already have.

I saw this new ride style being basically a zac-spin, looks like I was right, speaking or zac-spins, why are they calling it the worlds first free spinning 4-d? Doesn't a zac-spin spin freely based the weight of each side?
What are these for?

It's the first of it's kind in a way. It used magnetic "nudging" to get the seats to spin. I think they mean, it's the firs S&S Model of it's kind. So it would be the World's First.

Agreed. I think this looks better than the Intamins, though I haven't ever experienced a free spin, or a 4D in general. I kinda think I will hate them though as I vehemently dislike spinning in place.

I'm assuming they've done all of their calcs correctly and they obviously know what they're doing more than I do, but... as a design engineer... I'm having a hard time accepting that what is shown in that image is the final support structure.

The support on the very left of the image is not currently really doing anything, and would only be doing something if it was tied back to the next support (as shown below). The track must be supporting its own weight at that point. And, I guess, the trains are very small, and therefore probably not all that heavy. However, if both of those things are true... why is the support even there? I'm assuming it's right but, to me, it just seems odd.

EDIT: It's because the track IS the tie back to the previous support. Ignore me.

Also Gouldy its just a cantilever support in reality - regardless of if it were tied to anything it would take a load through bending capacity rather than axial capacity as most supports are designed to (stronger). The idea presumably being that they can use one large foundation (with the moment counter balanced by the mirrored support) rather than 3 separate ones and save on construction / material costs.

Since we're on the the topic of supports, I was wondering, how exactly do they calculate whether the supports can hold up everything or not?

^Also you got it spot on, Turbo

Can someone explain the 4D? Its a world first S&S, that part is cool, I'm intrested in how this coaster compares to Green Lantern, but the 4D?
Where's the 4D?
Diminsions:
up and down are #1.
Left to right are #2.
Rotating seats are #3
#4 Should be perpendicular left and right.

Apparently we have seen the layout before. Pause at 13:56. The only difference is the lift angle.

the first drop was originally going to be bigger, i guess they decided to go slower. :(
the original lift would have looked cooler too

Should be better than Green Lantern since it isn't completely free spinning there's no way for SF to neuter it.

Did six flags recently hire an rct3 fanboy to create new rides for 2015?? First the ring of fire, now this?? Cedar fair has definitely pulled ahead of six flags in the ultimate park chain races.
