so far i know there has never been a release date released, let just the sm2 crew alone and let them just concentrate on sm2 without whining when does it come. Don't worry, it will come.

Since we never hear anything new lately, I assume it's more like a hush hush SM2 project. I think it's got to be good when it ever comes out[:)]

Ya it will. I really really hope that they improve those breaks. They really annoy me.

^Or maybe get some new tracktypes? Ahh I left Scream Machines about 4 months ago after I got NoLimits. Best decision I've ever made. There were alot of things about Scream Machines that questioned my nerve. I can't say I didn't enjoy it while I was a user though. I like the 4thD coasters, B&M Flyers, and most of all, the Mine Train Tracks. It's a good program, but outshined nonetheless by NoLimits [;)]

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still alive, and so is SM2. I still don't have anywhere near as much time to work on the game as I would like but I try to code when I have the time. Some weeks I'll do 20-30 hours and others maybe only 2 or 3, if any.

As far as the game goes, it is a completely functional game and all the major features have either been added or prototyped. One of the things I've been running into is how much modern hardware has advanced since I began. The game really pushes the edge graphics-wise and a Shader Model 2.0 video card is required. Originally I did paths for older cards but it rapidly became a big mess and required too many compromises. That being said, performance is usually faster than SM1 when comparing similar rides. Of course, with some of the prettier features such as water reflections it can run slower on complex rides. And before someone asks, no, I don't plan on posting any screenshots anytime soon

Thank god for better graphics (although anything better than SM1 would do [:p])

^don't take a developer's word on how much he/she spends time on a project.
