I'm working on a modern version of the Bobs at Riverview Park. This is my first time making custom supports on a wooden coaster, and I wanted to know what you guys think.

Some of your pattern choices are odd, but otherwise it looks nice. Pretty good attention to detail, especially for your first time.

That looks kind of painful... perhaps we could get a better angle on it?

^I actually saw that video. I was surprised that I actually found a pov of it. Keep in mind this is a modern version, with more modern banking.

It doesn't look as bad here. Maybe you could lower the banking a bit because rather than going up vertically you are going up laterally. If that makes sense. Well, you want to limit lateral forces on transitions like that. I don't know if that if that is the case in this but I guess it would be your call because your the one who can see it perfectly. And you can only do it if it is hand built.

P.S. It looks good. Nice bracing and good banking.
