Why don't you ever put any of these coasters up for download? They look REALLY good!!

Video size is larger than window size

Either put it on full screen, right click the taskbar, properties, and check 'auto-hide taskbar', or lower the output resolution. I don't really recommend the last option since it wouldn't look its best.

who cares if its short or way to spread out its a coaster that's all that matters.

I think you're misunderstanding.

A short ride means there's less ride time to do interesting stuff and subject the rider to interesting forces. Therefore short rides tend to rely on gimmicks for example:

Kingda Ka - Tallest and Faster roller coaster in the world at time of building. Compare that to something like Kanonen as Liseberg where they can't have the tallest or faster roller coaster due to local constraints - the ride length is a good 20 seconds longer and it does far more with those 50 seconds than Kingda Ka.

If you had Kanonen's 46.6mph launch into its minature tophat and then finished the ride it would be an awful awful ride. Launched Woodie is not enough of a gimmick to warrant a short layout.

Further to that - when people see a spread out ride they see it as forceless, because more spread out = more gradual turns and transitions = less force. Like Skyarrow said we can only truly tell from a POV.

Deere, why do you even post here if you deny all criticism? If I were you, I would take it since the outcome of your coasters are definitely in need of it.

Anyways, your layouts are in desperate need of better planning. They look iffy and rather non forceful. You should look at actual layouts from GCI for example, and build your coaster off those. Furthermore, I HIGHLY recommend making your layouts more compact, and less 'snaky'. Meaning, try not to have them go in any given direction, but rather follow a certain course of travel, and to use the footprint given to it's advantage. Overall you have some neat concepts, but if you actually want to produce a decent coaster, I would recommend putting more time into your layouts.

In my case, I'm having trouble with testing clearances when building a pack-a-punch woodie, because of the crosstie length and the tunnel style different from one used for steel tracks.

^ I'll miss you. Taking a long break means you'll have a big chance to grow into a more better NL2 builder. Wish you a good luck. Hope you'll make a really fantastic comeback!

why don't you put a log flume/splash boat/river rapids-style ride in the river section?

^ I wanna say that sounds better, but I think he has his own theme park plan mainly based on his experience at SeaWorld. It's up to his ideas.
