Yeah, they are using the mailing list, the one that is impossible to opt out, and are emailing everyone.

Shame they can't get the personal info on who did it, I think they deserve to be sued. That you like hacking is one thing, and maby you'd rather get hacked by them then by someone who really does damage, but this is just a crime.

I'm surprised this hasn't happened sooner to be honest.

Robb's getting completely owned ... They cracked his youtube account and removed all his videos.

and they also uploaded one video, if anyone saw it...?
the guys doing it are dutch hackers called Mewl and darkcOke. They have screenshots of what they've done on a website, CP posted it, and removed it, so i wont post the link.
But, at first i thought this was just a challenge for them, but from what ive seen that they've done, they are doing this to annoy them, why else would they upload a video on Robb's account, hack his email to read it, tamper with his control panel, and mess up the website and forum?

Update,

Robb's basically been ruined, all his passwords, databases, customer details, email addresses are all out there.

I wouldn't be surprised to see customers sue him for not keeping their data so secure.

He needs to format and start again, it's the only way.

This would be so much more awesome if they weren't screwing with user accounts too. Messing with robb is fine with me since he kinda brings it on himself, but while I know there's a really awkward culture there, the users don't seem to have done anything to warrant these people messing with their accounts.

Well, they are hosted in the USA... I am suprised Robb hasn't taken the steps to at least shut down their website.

Aren't sites based on hacking illegal? As its an infringement of your privacy and rights? I'm sure it should have been shut down a while ago...

I sent Robb an e-mail, and then it shot me something back with a link to random words and letters & numbers. Hopefully it didn't do anything to me.

I hear that one. After I started reading the thread about this hacking on their website, I fell out of my chair laughing. As stated before, it looks like this was a personal attack on Robb and not TPR as a whole.

They've posted the Database on they're site. They've covered all user passwords though.
