Makes an interesting read.

Two brand new coasters, one in 2012 and one in 2015.

If the world is still existing[lol].
All RCCAs should be RMC'd. And that event shall be henceforth known as the Rollercaust.

I don't know, it seems like these are obviously just ideas they have as oppose to having the accuracy of technical drawings, so it's hard to tell quite what's going on as a lot of shaping looks WAY off to me [lol].

But it seems that the first coaster has half a heartline roll off the top of the lift into essentially a half loop for the drop. But after that, the side elevation shows a really long flat area where nothing happens... almost as if they're undecided between a few different options as to what is going to go there, either that or they're hiding it. Unless it genuinely is just going to be a 200ft long flat section :/

B&M have already stated that they are going to be building another coaster for thorpe park but they have neglected to say when LOL. i have heard roumers of them also working with alton towers on SW7 and on one for chessington but i wont confirm that just roumers.

i hope they get that extra building space though as it would be a massive extra for the park as it is starting to get a little cramped.

i still think they could do with a real good dark ride in the park. somthing along the line of a good haunted house

They're also having 5 new flat rides put in during that time, so you may get your wish, Gaz!

Yup, lot's of exciting developments as ever with Tussauds/Merlin. As you say, please bear in mind that the coaster layouts on the plans are simply 'placeholders' - and in no way the definitive/finalised layout.

Place your guesses now for what flat ride the park will be getting for the 2011 season; located either at the former Octopus Garden or Fungle Safari site. [:)]

i think the 2011 flat will either be a top spin or a frisby type ride

Surprised this hasn't been picked up yet on the site here. Thorpe is (assuming planning process is smooth) getting Cypress Gardens' rapids/slide 'Storm Surge' for 2011.

Think the most convenient place to see the plans is here:

Roller Coaster: LC12
Amusement Park: Thorpe Park (Chertsey, Surrey, England, UK)
Classification: Roller Coaster
Type: Steel - Sit Down
Status: Under Construction opening 2012
Builder: Bolliger & Mabillard

Notes: While at this time nothing official has been said about what type of roller coaster this will be, rumors are suggesting this will be B&M's new "Wing Walker" design like the Raptor at Gardaland.

I saw this the other day on RCDB, if it is in fact a "wing walker" the first drop will be EPIC!

A FREAKING PIZZA HUT EXTENSION?
HELLZ YEAH.
Cradled by two loving arms that I'd die for,
One little kiss and Felina goodbye.
