So I mentioned this awhile back when I got back on here, but it is now time.

It's time for the 4th Annual Ride Warrior Choice Awards, formerly the Thrilling 32 Coaster Poll.

In the first three years, we went from 38 to 54 to 172 voters in 2015. Now, we are looking to expand our reach even further and became the MOST inclusive and comprehensive poll in the amusement industry. No more bias. No more exclusion. No BS. It's all about the voters and the fans.

In less than 3 days we've already collected nearly 100 votes, and with the diverse community here, your participation will make this the BEST poll in the industry. The best part? It's free, it's fun, and it's open to EVERYONE!

To vote, simply fill out our Google Form. If you have an existing coaster rankings list, it will take less time, but plan to spend 30-60 minutes depending on how far down your list you'd like to go. A few of the topics do not have "Other" write-in options to avoid hundreds of different answers.

Thanks in advance! Please post with any questions!

I missed a few options in the list:
Favorite Roller Coaster Restraints - Mack over the shoulder lapbars (Blue Fire, Manta, Helix) and Intamin over the shoulder lapbars. (Taron)
Favorite Airtime Element - Expedition GeForce (2nd airtime hill with headchopper) @ Holiday Park. (Actually all the airtime moments are good on it: first drop, first camelback, and those bunny humps underneath the first first camelback too  )

But hey, I filled out where possible.

Ps. Fix the typo in there: Blackpool Pleasure Beack
Coastercount: 1410 (I've seen the world and it's horrid contraptions... @.@)
- Wood: 142
- Steel: 1268

Thanks Dirk!

We change the categories every year to keep in new and interesting. The airtime element one and the restraint one are new ones this year, so we're looking for feedback there outside on what to maybe add next year. In the past we have done things like "Favorite Spinning Ride" and "Ride You're Most Likely To Wait In a 6 Hour Line For" hahaha.

Thanks for the feedback!

Just went and filled this out. Even with comprehensive personal rankings it still took a good 40 minutes to do, so it might be worth including an option to upload an excel document in the future for coaster rankings (if that's even possible...not sure). Anyway, I'm curious to see what the results will be, and hope that perhaps there can be an accurate enthusiast poll again (I really miss the Mitch Hawker poll).
Coaster Count: 535 (114 wood, 444 steel); Park Count: 110
Top 5 Wood: El Toro, Voyage, Thunderhead, Outlaw Run, Boulder Dash
Top 5 Steel: Superman the Ride, Fury 325, Millennium Force, X2, Intimidator 305

We have had an upload option int he past, but we've had issues with versions not being attached properly and not being able to get ahold of folks to have them retry, so we've done away with it for now.

For reference, last year's Top 10:

Wood
1. Outlaw Run
2. Voyage
3. El Toro
4. Boulder Dash
5. Phoenix
6. Ravine Flyer II
7. Balder
8. Colossos (Heide)
9. Goliath (SFGAm)
10. Gold Striker

Steel
1. Fury 325
2. Intimidator 305
3. Bizarro (SFNE)
4. Nemesis
5. Expedition GeForce
6. Twisted Colossus
7. Skyrush
8. Leviathan
9. blue fire Megacoaster
10. New Texas Giant

For you that are wondering, Maverick moved up 9 spots from the previous year to #13

Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Boulder Dash should be number one for both wooden and steel

I didn't see their results till today as I usually don't care about the ride reputations. I don't want to be affected by those opinions when I get "good" coaster credits.
