To be perfectly honest that ride looks bogus (Gerstlauer or not). The spinning skateboarders are cheesy, and the only exceptional theming is the turn-around track ramp...To add on a higher note, these designs are a fun family ride, with some good spinning and a single intense air-pop moment (the hillcrest off the drop out of the MCBR, not the hill after it)...I will be at Six Flags Mid-America this Summer, and that won't be on the list to ride...why won't Gerstlauer whip up a new Spinner design [:(]

Your coming from an enthusiast view though...to families, this is the perfect ride. Families can enjoy the ride together (and face each other). As for the ride itself, it's not too intense yet includes some exciting elements and ofcourse the spinning action. Really smart move for SF IMO.

Yeah that's why I [one sentence] brought in the view from a family-orientation...It's a good ride, but why couldn't Gerstlauer make a different design of a good family spinner...I'm just getting bored of Timberland Twisters over and over again.

But do families really go to parks all over and over again? Not really. Those families who this type of ride is really targeted at visit maybe 2-4 times a season, and ride once per. To them, it's a new experience every time they visit really. Also, most of them don't travel to experience other themeparks, so they could care less about the rides at SFStl, SFNE, WOF, or MOA. They probaly haven't even heard of 'um. Atleast the SFFT and SFStl versions do have one difference from the SFNE, WOF, and MOA versions [:p].

^You make a good point. If there is a family in Cali rides a timberland one, and then a person from MOA rides one, they think its like one of a kind[:p] Its also easier to not have to Re-design coasters.

Its also not really Gerstlauer who is reusing the design, you can blame that on the Six Flags Cookie Cutter division. [;)]

This is a great move I think. Looks like a fun little ride, and its sure to be a hit with families and maybe even coaster enthusiasts too.

Yeah, Jakizle really works up good views...I guess the main line of my ignorance is just looking through what a GerstieFanatic would think of. The point Jake originally made [lol] I just don't know when to stop [lol]

Oh well, just wait a year, and ya'll up north will be happy.

Also, I wonder why SFStl opens so late...Fietsa Texas opens in a few weeks, on March 10th. When's spring break there anyone?

Well I couldnt find the topic for the ride at SFFT, but I'd just like to say that the ride itself (supports + track) is completely up. The park opens in just 10 days, so expect tons o' photos next Saturday!

Well, just last weekend did Southeastern Minnesota get any snow...railed in at about 3 ft [:D] I thought it'd never come.

Spring break in the Minnesota districts is the first week/s of March. I think, considering the weather circumstances that Valleyfair should open early so I don't miss opening day of Renegade [:D]

Anyway, lookin' forward to the pics!
