Anyone who has seen this TERRIBLE 1982 movie featuring Jeff Bridges will appreciate the above. They've recast Jeff for the sequel which comes out in 2011 I guess. I'm not horribly excited for this I just thought it was odd to bother making a sequel. Does look slightly badass even though I have no idea what happened in the first one.

Those of you who haven't seen it may recall a gag on Family Guy where Peter is just "the red bike" and someone else is "just the green bike". That came from the original movie and that's all anyone remembers lol.

Tron was a great movie for it's time ... kinda like 2001 Space Odyssey ... yeah, I think I would pay to see this as well.

The entire sequel is being scored by Daft Punk.

Yeah Tron was a bad movie, even by Michael Bay standards. But it is still amazing. What that movie did for CG effects is what makes it an important film.

Blegh... I think a sequel is completely pointless unless they're introducing some brand new technology again. But then again, I'm one of those angry film critics that's always reprimanding Hollywood for making crappy sequels to everything, so I'm just automatically expecting it to suck. With very few exceptions, the original is always the breakthrough, and then the sequel is just a cheap rip-off to make a quick buck on the fame of the original. And although that was a darned good action scene in the trailer, I's still afraid that's what this will be.

i find this very cool, i liked the first movie and im shure this will be full of bad drama moment and genral 2nd one suckness.
so i think ill stick with the original thank you
