Lets put it this way. When do you normally start intense support editing?

I never throw in the recycle bin! It would at worst end up sitting in a folder for 4 years.

Update: No pics yet, still not enough support done. But I will say doing custom GCI supports (everything custom but the main undertrack section) is a BIATCH! So tedious...but itll look gorgeous.

Heres a little about the track, a few things I dont think have ever been done. Not that Ive seen anyways:

All ledgers (both Y ledgers and angle ledgers)are handbuilt to spec the real thing.
All Wide Supports are built exactly to GCI (that I can tell)
Station Fly Through (just gotta have one)
Thinned all the supports to replicate the structure of GCI (also increases frame rates)
Lots of air
Lots of turns
Lots of fun transitions
Typical airtime / turning transitions of GCI both on entrance and exits to some elements

Nothing particularly crazy. More of an experiment in Newton1 for me. Also decided since the track came out well to spruce it up with the most realistic supports Ill have ever done on a wooden coaster.

Deadman is done (I think). Working on Ledgers and such now in the first turn around. Ledgers are done from station to this point with a few needing tweaked. This support work is going to take longer than expected...lol

Two new pics here

Supports look very realistic, nice job. Is this supposed to be based off of a dead man turn, or is it just a random element?

Its based off a deadman. Since the radius came close and all the supports grouped because of the height of the terrain, I chose to do a block and make it like a deadman turn. But with airtime entering and exiting the turn.

Hmmm have fun with those supports, I know I've done similar. Looks neato so far but then again I don't know jack about GCI's.
"Careful man, there's a beverage here!"
