Does Valleyfair make all of the employees go suspiciously close to the children's area to get drug tested like CP does lol? Buildings look great BTW. Everytime I try to make a building it just looks flat.

^ How can I bump properly like you did? I can't find such a neat option in the "Post Reply" mode. I mean, just like this:
Last bumped by sb on DD/MM/YYYY HH:MM.

:)

there's a button at the bottom of the page that says "bump topic"- just click on that.

not much news, i have built a couple more buildings like the Games of Skill buildings for the midway, and the carousel houseing. unfortunatly no carousel yet.

BUT, I do have this!

I belive this is the first video I have released of this project.
This is a POV of the High Roller. Valleyfair's first coaster built in 1976 by Rauerhorst Corporation.

That was really excellent. If I didn't know it was a recreation I could tell you were going for an older style woodie. "cha-cha now ya'll" haunts my dreams.

the track doesn't bank 5 degrees to the left coming out of the station, accuracy 2/10

but seriously, this is a REALLY good recreation!!!

I was amazed at "High Roller" recreated by Plantoris. Plus he showed us a fantastic example of "double posting" to draw our attention!

a small update.

added the games of skill buildings in the midway. I have put them off because idk how to fill them with stuff, so they are just basic buildings atm. Also I edited code masters Top spin and added the station and control building.(no, its not scripted)

I got rolling on the last section of park i have left. im not looking forward to thunder canyon, its going to be a huge pain.

And something I am particularly excited about, finished off the wave complete with a wave. Toying around with bastdani's splashdown script I managed to get a nice looking wave particle effect.

thats all for now.

The Excalibur-Thunder Canyon area could use more trees/shade, other than that, still looking great.

Wow. I am really impressed. I can't wait to play around in it. Also, it might be fun to make a hypothetical new roller coaster in there. I've always wished I could do that but I would never be able to recreate the park to this extent. I praise you.

yes the trees I normally add last otherwise they block the top veiw for placing fences and things. It will get there.

I also was looking forward to building my own coaster inside Valleyfair. There will be much fun to have. :D

Yeah have a blast making a rapids ride look slightly realistic in the game lol. Hell we would use your recreation as a contest template when it's done.

I have to say like I miss "Shoot The Rapids" everytime I look at this image. I don't know why but this is my feeling right now.

not much to say. just a few new pics and a POV.

The looping starship station is complete.

Valleyfair's 2nd coaster, the Corkscrew, was built in 1980, and was one of the first coasters to feature 3 inversions with a vertical loop, and a double corkscrew.

It's really good. I would give it a 9.5/10 on the exchange. The only shaping discrepancy I could find is in the final helix, and it's missing that jerk when it starts inclining again. But honestly dude, bravo. It's really good. You nailed the banking into the right turn before the corkscrews, which is really weird.

You should be really proud of this work and I can't wait for the release.

Are there any Flying Scooters to put in the main helix of the Wild Thing?
