^ Chinese coasters today don't look cheap to me as they now know how to build stuff! One example is obviously shown in the photo of a Mine Train! Mmm that ride thing does look good!

As for coasters that people call knockoffs, I like them TBH! :)

Is it really still a knock off if they use custom trains, track, and layouts? Seems to me they're finally evolving into a real manufacturer.
All hail your great Arrow Dynamics overlords.

Yeah and then another Chinese company can knock them off.

If they're using their own stuff no, it's a custom ride.

Wow, I like that flyer. Too bad they didn't implement another fly to lie -> Lie to fly on the turn that passes in front of the pretzel. Would have fit perfectly imo

That flyer looks pretty good! For once it's not another Superman clone.

That's a joke right? What complaint could they have possibly given?

They should only be allowed to complain about the coaster being built too far away from them.

I agree that's an awesome little flyer. I like seeing B&M getting custom with more compact designs.

It is nice to see that it's not a Superman clone. Is the track 90 degrees at the bottom of that dive in front of the pretzel loop?

Probs not 90, but approaching it. It might be a water splash because it looks like the same thing that Manta does, and I think I see water.

In the original concept art it was meant to be a water splash. I don't know if it actually does it because China.

The surface around the footers looks reflective so it does seem there's water. Love the way the yellow and green track+supports accent the grass and shrubs.

Looks like Happy Valley Chengdu will have some competition as a new Wanda park is planned for the city as well. Here is some concept art:

I'm going to doubt that's real. Look at the turn out of the tophat.

Wanda is building an indoor park in Nanning and it has this impressively well themed knockoff coaster called Phoenix Adventure.

"I know what we can do!"
"What [stereotypical name here]?"
"Lets totally hijack the Roller Skater model from Vekoma and build it to the lowest standards for our new project"
"Nah [stereotypical name here], instead, we could make an in-house worse ride with a worse layout to those very same garbage standards, AND, add 4-across seating!"

I mean the theming look okay but like......why?
