aren't they just under the directory C:\Program Files\Atari\RollerCoaster Tycoon 3\tracks\coasters ? maybe those are different files...

I've searched everywhere too...Maybe the're hidden? I can't find the saved parks either.

EDIT:

I found where they are along with tracks, structures and so on...Check your "My Documents" folder for a RCT3 folder. Within that folder lies a few other folders containing your tracks, parks, and so on.

Actually, I think they did it to make it easier for us to find, (Although we had a hard time finding them). Well, it's less navigating thru to get to the files..they're right within easy access.

you need to put it into: my documents/rct3/parks

Then open it into rct in sandbox mode [;)]

Did you happen to rename your files, Beacuause i don't have a park file. in alphabetical order, the "P" section goes as follows!

#1 ParticleEffects #2 Particles #3 Paths #4 People! Befor #1 there is "Objects" and after #4 there is "Queue"

Your not very good in the explaining department DIRK!

I Think i found your problem, YOU NEED TO GO TO MY DOCUMENTS! There RCT3, and then you see those folders. I've been searching and i found in the c:\program files\atari\roller coaster tycoon 3\ those folders you were saying.
Go to my documents. I dunno where it's located on your pc. Then you'll see a subfolder named: RCT3, into that folder you can find your custom games, scenario's etc...

Or else the problem is that you got the USA version....

EDIT:
Here can you see your in the totally wrong place:
Where you are suppost to be:

Where you are located:

For what it's worth, blame MS for this, not RCT3. That is the "correct" way to store user data when using a NT-based OS because if you're playing the game under a non-admin account (which everyone should be if they care about security at all), you wouldn't have write access to the main RCT3 folder. A lot of other games do this as well, and it is a requirement if you want the game to be Windows Compliant certified.
