Whiplash is a unique LIM/shuttle variation of a Maurer Sohne X-car coaster. You start off with a 0-100km/h (60mph) launch into a loop, pulling up to 4.7g. You are then quickly thrown into another half loop, pulling similar g's. Right when you are upsidown you enter an inverted heartline roll. You then slowly come to a halt on an inclined brake run, while still inverted! You're then held there for just one second, which seems like an eternity. After that you are released, going through it all again backwards. After rushing backwards through the station it flings you up into a vertical 360* twisted spike, and then you are dropped once again through the station, and are slowed as you pass the lims for the third time. you get about half way up the loop, before reversing again and safely returning go the station.

Just a little project I've been working on the last few days. It IS a fantasy coaster, I know it couldn't be built safely in real life due to e-stop issues. Any constructive critisism will be welcomed, thanks in advance. [;)]

Thanks, both of you. I'll send it either tonight or tomorrow morning, I want to make a few changes to it. In the mean time, anyone else wanna test?

Not everyone is as lazy as you are jason...[:D]although I have to admit that I slept untill 3 PM today.

Your track looks really nice, though that brake probaly produces somw really hard hangtime.

I was origainally planning to scrap this project, but I found a new name and colour scheme to go with it, so I will be finishing it. It's now intended to be a variation of a Maurer sohne X-car; These coasters are designed for hangtime, and are much more manouverable that intamin trains, so in reality there would be no wheel colisions in the inverted heartline roll. I think this idea suits the ride design much better, I think they have much more in common and is a fair bit more realistic.
There's now a new fading colour scheme, the name Whiplash, and I've added a 360* vertical twist to the reverse spike. I'll also be doing a cartexture, and my own 3ds station and launch tunnel.

Enjoy, and leave any comments behind. [;)]

Quite a small update, I've now got the cartexture done, and I'm very proud of this one, It's some of the best cartexture work I've ever done. I took some screens of it on the white env, and with a plain white track, when I took it on the proper track you couldn't make out some of the details. Anyway, Enjoy!

The cartexture looks really good, and I like that twist in the spike, it should be great in the back seat.

^ Yeah, that's one of the main reasons I added it. Before the back seat was considerably more boring, less hangtime, lower G's, but now it's got the added kick of the vertical twist.

Actually, I find the straight vertical spikes on the Intamin Impulses to be more fun than Wicked Twisters. Why? Not sure. WT's is sweet but on the other spikes my stomach totally falls out when we hit the zero G. On WT because you are spinning the feeling doesnt come as sudden.

Still, looks nice. Simple.

yeah i have the same feeling. when it catches the train on V2, and takes it up a bit, that feels alot more better than on WT. it might just be the fact that the train gets lifted by the lims, i might like that part of it. but i dunno, v2 i actually like more than WT (on the back stop part i mean, WT owns v2 the rest of the time).

anyways, looks good wingover. btw, are you going to add 3ds to this? and make it a wee bit more interesting with a custom station and what not? id actually use the CS parkpack and make it like a real themepark, but thats just me. [:D]
