Wooden Wings was made using Newton?????????'s FVD technology.


The ride mix sharp turns, airtimes and laterals.


It is featuring red prefab tracks, to provide a smooth experience, but still with an out-of-control feeling.

How do you get that first picture?

I took a picture in the editor -profil view, obviously- and edited it with Photofiltre, applying a color switch (you can pick a color and replace it by another, that's quite useful in that case [;)])

Not bad, but it's really a pretty shameless ripoff of the Riverside Cyclone layout-wise.

I totally recognize the drop is inspired by Riverside Cyclone. I started to design the ride after watching a POV of it, and wanted to do a similar first drop. But the following layout is a self-design. ;)
More a tribute than a rip-off, in my opinion.

What's bad about using that drop? You get two spots of airtime and it isn't the curving weak bullshit GCI uses, so it's a win win situation.

Nothing bad about it, but it's still not especially original. The undulating 1st turnaround is also VERY reminiscent of RC, as is the rest of the layout.

It's an oval ride. There is not much you can do with those without making it look stupid. Deal with it.

Wow, language got out of control in what, one post?

Tyler, your ride has hills. Nothing terribly original about those, or turns. Come on man, youve done this before. I respect your drive for originality but taking inspiration, however obvious, isnt being UNoriginal. It only becomes UNoriginal when youve shamelessly recreated more than a single element.

But really, we have straight drops, turning drops, Airplane coaster drop, CBC drop, Renegade, Troy, Voyage...

By the time you eliminate all of those, you are left with virtually nothing. I bet I can even trace one to another, rendering even newer stuff old and shamelessly ripped off as you put it.
